About the Job
Do you have a passion for precision?
Are you looking to take your next step in your print career?
If you know what a Slitter Operator does, you know, and you know it is pretty darn cool!

If you've got the know-how, you've run machinery in the print industry and love the fast pace, the thrill of the fill, the colors flying by at lightning speed - we suggest you keep reading.  And if after that you find that your experience is in alignment - well, by all means, please send us your resume!

At Innvoke, we take pride in seeing our work on store products and shelves across the country. We are looking for a dedicated Label Slitter Operator to join our finishing department. This is a critical role in which your mechanical aptitude and keen eye for detail ensure that every label leaving our facility meets the highest quality standards.

The Role:
As a Label Slitter Operator, you are the final touchpoint in the production process. You will be responsible for operating slitting and rewinding machinery to convert large master rolls of printed labels into finished, customer-ready rolls. This role requires a "get it right the first time" mindset and the ability to work swiftly while maintaining extreme accuracy.

What You’ll Do:
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate slitter/rewinder machines according to job specifications. The daily standard and expectation is to produce 50,000 feet; amounts can be greater.
  • Precision Setup: Position and adjust blades (slitting knives) to ensure exact widths and clean cuts.
  • Quality Control: Inspect printed labels during rewinding to identify and remove defects, ensuring 100% accuracy for the client.
  • Tension & Calibration: Monitor machine speed, tension, and alignment to prevent wrinkling or misalignment.
  • Production Logistics: Load and unload rolls up to 25 lbs, box finished products, and accurately log production data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a clean workspace and perform basic preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Experience: Two years of previous experience in a label and print, bindery environment is preferred.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a "detective’s eye" for quality - you notice the small things that others might miss.
  • Technical Aptitude: You are comfortable with measurements (fractions/decimals) and possess the manual dexterity to handle fine adjustments.
  • Focused Mindset: You enjoy being "in the zone" and thrive in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and quality go hand-in-hand. You take ownership of your role and pride in the work you do.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift rolls as required by production needs.

Why Join Innvoke?
  • Total Rewards: We believe in transparency. Beyond a competitive hourly rate, we offer a "Total Compensation" package including health, dental, vision, 401k + match, PTO, pet insurance, life insurance, and additional voluntary plans.
  • Investment in You: We value self-taught skills and a commitment to learning the Innvoke way too.
  • Real-World Impact: Your work will be seen by thousands of consumers every day.

How to Apply:
If you are a focused, reliable professional who takes pride in your work, we want to hear from you! Please submit your resume along with a summary of how your previous experience aligns with this position.  We look forward to hearing from you!
